The Sisterlocks®/Brotherlocks Package
Consultation: We will discuss past hair care practices, view the Sisterlocks® video and "test locks" will be established. There is a non-refundable deposit and consultation fee due at the time of consultation that is applied toward your total fee.
The Lock Establishment Session: Establishment of Sisterlocks™ and starter kit will be given with further instruction on shampooing and maintenance of your new locks.
The Follow-Up: At 3-4 weeks your first re-tighten will be done, after two shampooings. This is a good time to discuss styling options.

Important Announcements
Loving Locks is an official Sisterlocks® host training location, the owner is also a Certified Sisterlocks trainer. Sisterlocks establishments re-tightenings, and other Loving Locks services may have an assistant or mentee present and or assisting for training purposes. Please do not request owner only establishments.
Scheduling and attending a Loving Locks appointment is acknowledging and accepting that services may be provided by a Loving Locks team member (working independently) or mentee under the direct onsite guidance of the owner.
Important: Loving Locks is not accepting transfer clients with Locs (any type) that have not been retightened in 9 weeks or more.
FYI: If you notice your appointment reminder has a different consultant, your regular consultant may not be available, please do not cancel. Loving Locks provides continuity of hair care and want to ensure your regular recurring appointment is kept to prevent breakage, higher cost, and longer appointment times. You will be serviced by another onsite consultant, and will see your regular consultant at the next visit.
Please be advised, when your Sisterlocks® Package is completed by the owner, your future retightening appointments may be provided by a Sisterlocks® service provider on the Loving Locks Team . (All Sisterlocks® practitioners here at Loving Locks have been mentored by Certified Trainer/Brand Ambassador Janelle Wilson.)

Appointments
Condition of hair
There is a Sisterlocks® Consultation Fee $50 (Deposit $150) both are Non-Refundable total $200 (Applied to total cost). Clients must pay amount of establishment balance at the start of the locking session. We require a credit card to secure an appointment, card will not be charged.
New Clients
Each session may range from 2 to 4 hours if regular 4 - 6 week appointments are maintained. The hourly retighten rate is $60 an hour) and every fraction thereof. Retightening’s and maintenance are not synonymous. Owner only request is at $75 an hour the entire retighten session.
Re-tightening
Clients must call or text if they expect to be late. There is a $10 late fee. Appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on service providers schedule. Services will be billed from the time of the start of your appointment, not your arrival time. Appointment may get canceled. Breaks taken by your consultant are not included in your billed time.
Lateness
All new and existing clients must have an appointment for services. Appointments must be cancelled at least 1 hour in advance to avoid a $10 cancellation fee, aapointment may also get canceled. There is a $30 No Call/ No show fee. No children that are not being serviced allowed.
Appointments
For every session (consultation, establishment or re-tightening) your hair must be clean (washed within 48 hrs) and free of all oils, conditioners, and moisturizers.
Condition of Hair
Clients may pay with a credit card or cash at the time of their scheduled appointment or online prior to service. Late cancellation fee $10, Insufficient funds $30, No Call/ No show $30 (Client may be dropped from schedule indefinitely). Checks are not accepted.

SPACE SHARE CHAIR RENTAL Pay-per use ($10 per hour).
Space share chair rent hourly increments (1-12 hours)
Space share chair rent weekly $250 (5 days) Calculated at 5 hours per day, but may use any amount of time per day for the weekly rental
There is a 30 min add on for $5 (Useable only as an add on to any of the space share chair rental increments)

Sisterlocks® FAQ
Q: What is Sisterlocks®?
A: Sisterlocks® is a natural hair management system that allows women with tightly textured hair to take advantage of a wide range of today's hairstyles without having to alter the natural texture of their hair.
Q: Can I get Sisterlocks® if I have relaxed hair?
A: Yes. Though the transition will take more time, your hair care professional who is trained in Sisterlocks® techniques can help you make that transition. Your styling options will increase as your natural texture grows out.
Q: Do I need to have 'fine' hair for sisterlocks® to work?
A: Not at all! In fact, the coarse, thick 'nappy' hair is best for Sisterlocks®. Your natural abundant texture adds body and makes styling easier.
Q: Does this mean that once I get Sisterlocks®, I can still change my hairstyles?
A: Yes! Sisterlocks® is a lot less limiting than extensions because it is your natural hair. You can curl it, braid it, wear a ponytail, cut it, spray or mousse it, wear bangs and parts - You name it!
Q: Can Sisterlocks® be taken out?
A: Technically, yes, though the procedure is so tedious, you will not want to get Sisterlocks® with that intention. Anyway, once you discover the range of freedom with Sisterlocks®, you won't want to go back! Finally, there is a way of celebrating the natural beauty of our hair with Sisterlocks®!
Q: How long does it take to do?
A: The initial locking process takes about two thirds as long as getting extensions of comparable size. For medium length hair this means about eight to twelve hours (maybe longer!). The beauty of Sisterlocks® is that tightening them as your hair grows out is extremely simple, since there are no extensions to remove and re-set.
Q: Can I do the locks myself?
A: This is not advised. Not all hair types require the same locking technique. Your hair care professional is the best trained to give you locks that will be best suited to you. Also, many hair care professionals are trained to give you cuts, styles and grooming tips that will ensure the lasting beauty of your locks.
Q: Will Sisterlocks® cause my hair to break and thin?
A: Just the opposite! Sisterlocks® is a gentle technique that requires no chemicals, no excessive tightening, and causes no damaging abrasion to the hair or scalp. You will find that with regular care, your locks will grow and grow, and your styling options will increase.
